This past Black Friday saw the release of Adidas originals and Kanye West collaboration of the Yeezy Boost 350 v2. The shoe was released in three color ways: Infared, Copper, and Green. With the red and copper versions of the shoe selling out instantly the "green" color way was the most accessible for those online who do not use bots for auto checkout.
Much like all other Yeezy Boost releases the shoe sold out within 10 minutes of releasing online. With most stock going to the Adidas EU site the US website was put into a brief queue for customers to select their desired shoe and then granted 10 minutes to checkout. While the red color way was nearly impossible to get the other two color ways had seen manual success on the website.
While the online drop was the most accessible way for those who wanted the shoe to get it, in store raffles and Footlocker, Finishline, and Footaction apps seemed to give customers another way to take a W on the shoe. Next week we'll take a look into those apps and how to get the best chances of success. We here at All Things Boost managed to get not just the Infrared color way but also the Green on.
